Last night was still, with glassy seas. This morning there was a very slight low swell and grey skies.

We've motored 30 hours since departure.  Conditions were ideal, so we emptied the 3 jerry cans of fuel into the tank - 60 litres.   Anne documented the refueling operations:

1) Get ready - remove everything from the cockpit locker to get to the jerry cans:

2) Refueling mid-ocean ... Oops!

3) Clean up and Job well done!

Being conservative, if say 70 litres used, then we've been using 2.35 litre/hour. That's ok, we can motor nonstop for 5 1/2 days and still have 100 litre reserve. However, we are a sailboat. So after the fuel ops. up went all the sails and we managed 5kts for 15 minutes before dropping back to less than 4kts, so back on with the motor.  Predictwind is showing Rusalka motoring for many days - Alex will be doing daily fuel allowance calculations soon!
