For those interested in how much fuel we used, and so on, here are The Numbers.

Officially we cleared Australia out of Hobart, at Sullivan's Cove and cleared into New Zealand in Nelson. However, 12 hours were spent stopped in Nubeena and 9 hours were spent waiting outside Nelson. For 20 hours we were not passaging, so total time is Hobart to Nelson and total passage time excludes these waiting times.

Equipment breakage or failure:
On day 3, from a very small leak, water droplets fell into the battery monitor servicing the lead acid house batteries. The unit failed but the batteries and charging continued to operate normally. However, electric power was switched over to the second house batteries, lithium, which have their own battery monitor and charging system, so state of charge was available.
